RED offers the upgraded Mysterium™ X Super 35mm cine sized (24.4×13.7mm) sensor, which provides 4K (up to 30 fps), 3K (up to 60 fps) and 2K (up to 120 fps) capture, and all this with wide dynamic range and color space in 12 bit native RAW. At 4K, that's more than 5 times the amount of information available every second and a vastly superior recording quality. In addition, you get the same breathtaking Depth of Field and selective focus as found in film cameras using equivalent 35mm P/L mount lenses.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a complicated and high-tech camera and we highly recommend that an experienced and qualified DIT (digital imaging technician) be on location for the shoot. Not only that, an early availability the day before rental is available for a "prep" at our facility at which the DIT should be in attendance.

PIXEL SHIFTING AND UP-REZZING NOT SPOKEN HERE
Typical high-end HD camcorders have 2.1 megapixel sensors and record with 3:1:1 color sub-sampled video at up to 30fps. We deliver 12 megapixels at up to 60fps and record 12 bit native RAW, or 10 bit over-sampled HD your choice. That’s more than 5 times the amount of information available every second and a vastly superior recording quality. Don’t need all that data for your workflow? Dial it back, and keep all the other advantages of the Mysterium™ Super 35mm cine sized (24.4 x 13.7mm) sensor. You get the same breathtaking Depth of Field and selective focus as found in film cameras. Mysterium™ boasts a greater than 66db Signal to Noise Ratio thanks to its large 29 sq. micron pixels. And 12,065,000 pixels deliver resolution that can only be called Ultra High Definition.

RED ONE IS A MODULAR DESIGN
Shoot lightweight ENG style (body around 9 lbs., in rugged aluminum alloy) or load it up to shoot a feature film. Initial options will include RED-CAGE™ for mounting accessories and "growing" the camera body. Configure for tripod, crane or long lens applications. Onboard or external high-resolution RED monitors come equipped with advanced tools for framing, exposure and focus. The RED ONE™ camera has numerous stainless steel mounting points on the body to allow hundreds of optional RED and third party accessories... some that haven’t even been dreamed of yet.

Chrosziel Follow Focus 203-01

The Chrosziel 203-01 is a follow focus designed for film and video cameras. The unique system allows easy operation from both sides, making it highly accessible in a variety of situations. The follow focus makes critical focus pulling a breeze. Markings on the focus wheel give about 110-140° of rotation on the lens, spreading the angle to the focus knob by a factor of two. RED Viewfinder Mount

The EVF Mounting System provides a secure mounting interface on either style of top bracket as well as 4" of vertical adjustment and 6" of telescoping adjustment along the viewfinder axis. In addition to the linear adjustment, it also provides a rugged clutch that allows the viewfinder to be tilted to almost any angle. It will stay where you put it regardless of shooting environment. All adjustments including clutch drag are easily adjusted on-the-fly without tools. The integral handle/battery bracket is adjustable in length and angle to allow proper balance.
