The Movcam Cage Kit for the Panasonic GH5 & GH5s includes the all-magnesium GH5 camera cage and multiple additional accessories that provide for a more complete and flexible workflow. The included twist top handle features a quick release NATO rail mount, rotating grip design, 15mm rod port, front and rear shoe mounts, and 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads. The riser rail allows you to attach the handle front-offset to make room for the XLR adapter compatible with the GH5.
The Universal LWS Baseplate accepts Arca-Swiss camera plates and is mountable on ARRI dovetail plates. It offers 15mm LWS rod ports and an adjustable lens support in front for long or heavy lenses. The kit also includes an HDMI bracket and two 8" 15mm rods. Most of these additional accessories are made of magnesium just like the cage itself.
The GH5 Cage Kit also comes ready to support the optional Metabones MFT to EF adapter. There's a spare component on the bottom of the cage that can be removed and screwed directly under the adapter to provide a sturdier support for the adapter.
