The Litepanels SeaSun MicroPro Underwater Housing allows you to use your Litepanels MicroPro LED light underwater. Along with Los Angeles based underwater motion picture specialist Hydro Flex, Inc., Litepanels has developed this underwater lighting fixture.
The daylight balanced MicroPro LED light is perfect for bringing back the natural colors that get filtered out when filming underwater. The SeaSun MicroPro lighting fixture has been designed to be as close to neutrally buoyant as possible, allowing for easy movement to follow the action. It is designed to be slightly small in size and easily handheld underwater.
Litepanels LED MicroPro light requires less that 1/10th the amount of power of traditional underwater lighting sources, which allows batteries used to power the lights to last 10-times longer than old-style underwater fixtures. For example, using Energizer E2 Lithium Ion AA batteries, the MicroPro can run over 5 hours.
Because LEDs emit almost no heat, the Litepanels SeaSuns can be removed from the water with the light still turned on. Litepanels SeaSun fixtures are easily gelled to modify color temperature of the light provided. Pre-cut pieces of gel material can be carried and applied to the underwater fixture during the dive.
The Litepanels MicroPro housing comes equipped with an integrated camera shoe featuring an adjustable tilt mechanism. To allow for multiple configurations, it may also be mounted on the optional base plate for off-camera usage, or on an extension arm. This makes the light perfect for being mounted on a camera housing or to be deployed off to the side.

The Sea & Sea YS-110a is a high-performance strobe that is designed to be compatible with most cameras. The automatic pre-flash function will adjust for most digital or film cameras.
The Sea & Sea YS-110a has a 12-step control dial, for precision manual manipulation of light output. The large dial is easy to handle, even when wearing heavy gloves. For point & shoot digital cameras, the strobe offers DS-TTL when fired with the built-in slave connected with the fiber optic cable. The original underwater HMI's designed by Richard Mula and Pete Romano for the movie The Abyss, the SeaPar 1200W HMI has been extensively used in the motion picture and commercial industries on countless projects worldwide. This light made such a profound impact on the industry that in 1991, the lamp received a Technical Achievement Award from The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
The SeaPar lighting system passed NASA's Hazard Risk Assessment program for filming Michael Bay's feature film "Armageddon", and to date is the only underwater lighting to be allowed in NASA's "Neutral Buoyancy Lab" (NBL) in Houston, Texas. The lights have since returned to the NBL for a National Geographic shoot and Clint Eastwood's feature film "Space Cowboys".
