JVC HZ-CA13U Film Lens Adapter |
For GY-HD200/250, PL to ProHD.
The JVC HZ-CA13U is a cine optical PL adapter. It will accommodate a wide range of lensing options, in particular the large implementation of existing 16mm film lenses. Super16mm and 35mm lenses can also be used with no vignetting in the image. As the construction is optics based there is minimal loss of light that is approximately 0.5f.
Note The image from film lenses will be inverted. The JVC ProHD 200 series camcorders have image inversion capability to right the captured image from the HZ-CA13U to the proper proportion. Please see the operations manual of the 200 series camcorders for additional details.

Fujinon ACM-17 lens adapter for JVC HDV |
This adapter allows the JVC camcorders to utilize high quality 2/3" HD broadcast lenses using the Sony B4 mount. Broadcast lenses used with 2/3" HD cameras feature optics and image depth at a much higher quality than lenses designed for 1/3" camcorders. The upgrade in lens quality will upgrade the image to levels unprecedented in 1/3" chip cameras.
The Fujinon ACM-17 is a lens adapter for JVC HDV 1/3" camcorders. This adapter allows the JVC camcorders to utilize high quality 2/3" HD Fujinon lenses using the Sony B4 mount.

This adapter will work with JVC HDV camcorders such as the GY-HD100/101/110/20/201/250/251.
Broadcast Lenses
Broadcast lenses used with 2/3" HD cameras feature optics and image depth that is at a much higher quality than lenses designed for 1/3" camcorders. The upgrade in lens quality will upgrade the image to levels unprecedented in the 1/3" chip realm.

We also eliminated the 1/2 " video window and replaced it with the current video chip standard of 2/3." Film sizes and video formats are color-coded for quick reading.
12:1 Zoom Ratio Ring: Smooth zooming from wide angle to telephoto. Focal lengths are viewed in windows located on the barrel of the viewfinder. The zoom range for the various formats is as follows:
