The U-BZ100 splash housing is specially designed to fit the bulky, professional and semi-professional digital SLR cameras like the Canon EOS 5D and 7D or the Nikon D1, D2X, D200 and similar cameras. Smaller SLR cameras can still be used in the housing. The U-BZ100 has a wider front glass and includes the C-A 77 adapter, allowing the use of lenses with a filter thread of 77 and 82mm. All lenses used with this housing must have internal focus.
You can only use lenses with a maximum filter thread diameter of 72mm. If you are using lenses with a 77mm or a 82mm filter thread, then you must use the U-BXP100 housing.
The external flash that is commonly used on SLR cameras fits into the specially designed section on the top of the housing.
